Of Ducks and Hen

July 25, 2009 - This post really deserves its own section which I'll get around to one day but for now I'll tell you the Readers Digest condensed version.It all started about a year and a half ago when we got the crazy notion to get some chickens which in itself could consume several posts. It goes to follow that this year we had a broody hen for which we naturally procured six Muscovy Duck eggs from Ebay.
We are happy to report that the aforementioned Chicken has been a perfect mother to her ducklings (4 of the 6 made it) in a way that only God himself could have arranged and an endless source of delight for all of us this summer.
