August 23, 2009 - I've been reading from time to time a book by a dear friend of ours Called In His Image (Hillside Education) about nurturing creativity in our children. It is something that we have been encouraging since I can remember but she puts the whole idea in words that reinforce what we already know inherently.It says on the back cover "Through creativity, we imitate the Divine Creator and practice the skills needed to battle the despair produced by a pre-made, manufactured, cookie-cutter world".
In that light we are going to feature every Sunday something that one of the kids produced in the previous week.
